by John W. Visit Date:April 25, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Stayed at resort for four nights and was quiet the whole time. They had finished extending the deck by the bar area day before we left which would be a welcome addition for dining purposes. Ate a few times at their restaurant which was good particularly the snapper. Breakfast was included in the price and you can order off the menu. The whole staff was very helpful and accommodating. Mo at the restaurant, for instance, offered me a plate of mixed fruit to bring back to our villa when I only had coffee for brekky. Our villa was cleaned and restocked with two bottled water each day. There is not much around the immediate area so if peace and quiet is what you re looking for then this is the place for you. There is a bigger outfit next door with a spa and a rough and ready restaurant on the other side where we had a few drinks. The resort setting is quite pretty with expansive views of Samui s spectacular sunsets." |
by Kathryn Savaria Visit Date:December 1, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "My husband and I stayed at the Koh Samui resort in November 2011. Loved the quiet location on a dead end road right on the beach. It was still the low season so the resort was not full and very quiet. Most times we had the pool to ourselves. The staff was very attentive and professional. We opted for the breakfast option which was a huge amount of food and always good (I recommend it). Once the water calmed down we were able to swim and snorkell right in front of the resort with pretty good fish viewing and reefs close to shore. Note it s about a 15 minute walk to get to the main road to catch a taxi into town. There are several other places you can eat at along the way, have a drink or get a massage, as well as a few groceries. If you want a big party scene and to be close to shopping this is not the place for you to stay. But if you want peace and quiet, to be pampered and have your every need taken care of, this resort is wonderful. We loved it here and will come stay here again if we return to Koh Samui. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Jahn Visit Date:July 26, 2011 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "perfect bungalow in a very quiet area. and very nice service. They try to do their best. Only thing to complain: aircon only worked highspeed and they did not (could not?) fix it." |

by Linas Sumskas Visit Date:March 28, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Location has some advantages (large room with large terrace; nice sandy beech with palms some rocks; restaurant is on the ridge of water; free computer/internet in the room) and disadvantages (poor not paved road to the hotel - some 500 meters; same destroyed buildings in nationhood; good kitchen at the restaurant during lunch/dinner, but very poor breakfast. Also the pool was closed due reconstruction during our stay, but we never use the pool if sea available. In general I rate the hotel quitesitively, but room price should be lower. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Diane and Peter Skeggs Visit Date:January 15, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "The Hotel was very nice but in an isolated spot as far as going for walks in the townships was concerned.Being close to the beach was great and the staff, restaurant and facilities were good. The food was particularly nice, fresh and beautifully cooked. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
by Seb! Visit Date:December 10, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Very relaxing place, nice staff. Away fom all the busy area like Bohput or Chaweng. Had a great time (10 days) there. Beach is eating up the coast line from Koh Samui Resort but the next beach to the left is great (just 100yds).If you want quietness and a relaxing resort thats the place ! [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
August 31, 2009 by Stefano Fava Visit Date:August 16, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "best buy! ok is expensive, but everything is at top level: rooms, services, kindness, beach (with abeautiful coral reef), swimming-pool massages, food, car and m-bike rental..." |
Good, July 25, 2009 by Roman and family Visit Date:July 14, 2009 "We spent 3 days there. It is silent place with long beach but not suitable for swimming due to many stones and dead corals on the bottom except part on the left side. There are no any restaurants near than 0.8-1 km except hotel cafe. New hotel not so far from Koh Samui Resort is beeing constructed but it does not disturb. It is very romantic place but not cheap comparing with another ones. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
Booking works very well and very quick !Absolute no problems., May 17, 2009 by Klinkhart Visit Date:May 14, 2009 "The deluxe-bungalows are very nice with outside shower. The people were very friendly and helpful! The service was without any doubts. Only the location was a little bit afield - not for those who want have a party every night. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
July 23, 2008 by Grafinger Werner Visit Date:July 1, 2008 "We visited the Koh Samui Resort for the second time. It is situated off the beaten track in a calm area of Koh Samui. In front of the hotel there is a beautiful mile long, sandy, palm-lined beach. The hotel itself is well equipped and clean. All rooms dispose of a large bathroom, air condition, a TV and a computer with Internet for free. The restaurant is situated close to the beach. The food is excellent. Although the staff tried to do their best we have to citizen that only a few of them spoke English. The staff in the restaurant were very helpfull but overstrained. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in the Koh Samui Resort. Very good booking service, July 1, 2008 by Helen Robertson Visit Date:June 3, 2008 "This is a small independent resort. The rooms themselves are well appointed and well finished. The reception staff are lovely but generally the restaurant and bar staff need a lot more training. The food is generally good but was overpriced as were drinks. Breakfast however was not good. The hotel has a great location right on a beautiful beach with stunning views and sunsets. Would we return probably yes but more for the beach and tranquility. The bar area was being renovated for the whole week we were there so we had drills, hammers, circular saws, paint and varnish smells all week which did mar our relaxation. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
